Written by Windows Admin

ISO is a well-known file format and many software developers use it to distribute their software. You can store the entire contents of a CD, DVD, or other external drive in a single image file. Ain’t it good Let’s say you have 40 GB of data that you want to share with your friends or family. It can contain multiple files and folders. Just convert it to ISO file and share it easily and quickly.

The ISO file keeps your data structured, which means that once its contents are extracted, it will remain original. So if you have a bootable USB CD / DVD drive, it will still be bootable when you create the ISO file.
