Once you’ve started your Windows 11 PC, it will stop at the lock screen, which you click to get the login screen. Microsoft uses the same wallpaper for both locations i.e. lock screen and login screen. That is, if you change the lock screen wallpaper, it will be automatically applied to the login or login screen. Although Micorosft uses a similar image for the lock screen and login screen while the lock screen is crystal clear, you will see acrylic blur effects on the login wallpaper. However, if you want to see a clear logon wallpaper, Microsoft has provided an option.

On Windows 11, if you want to see the clear picture on the login / login screen, you can use the Group Policy Editor. By optimizing your PC’s group policy, you can use the clear picture on the logon background.
How do I display a clear logon background image on Windows 11?
Step 1. Open the Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc).
Step 2. In the left sidebar of the Local Group Policy Editor window, navigate to the following path:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Logon
Step 3. On the right side of the log in look for the policy name “Show clear login background” and double-click it to open Settings.
According to Microsoft: “This policy setting disables the acrylic blur effect on the login background image. If you enable this policy, the login background image will be displayed without blurring. If you deactivate this policy or do not configure it, the background image of the login takes on the acrylic blur effect. “
Step 4. Choose Allows.
Step 5. Click Use.
Step 6. Click OK.
After following the steps above, you should see a clear background image for signing in on Windows 11. No more blurring effect on the login background.
Good luck.
